QUICKER KILL
Prescription Treatment brand Advance Cockroach Gel Bait
Provides the Quickest Kill!
Advance Cockroach Gel Bait provides the
quickest kill of leading cockroach baits. As
shown in the data below, Advance killed 50%
of the adult German cockroaches in the first 4
hours. Other competitive roach bait formulations
required 3 to 4 times longer to kill 50% of the
German cockroaches.
Advance Cockroach Gel Bait’s active ingredient,
dinotefuran, is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum
insecticide that works through contact and
ingestion. Dinotefuran is a nicotinic receptor
agonist that interferes with sodium ion flow and
disrupts the insect’s nervous system.
Listed as a subclass of neonicotinoid chemicals,
it has no known resistance and is non-repellant. Advance Cockroach Gel Bait also has a new bait
matrix for fast acceptance. The unique attractants in the bait matrix are attractive to both gelaverse
and non-gel-averse roaches.
REDUCED RISK
Advance Cockroach Gel Bait has Reduced Risk status for
German Cockroach Control.
The active ingredient in Advance Cockroach Gel Bait, dinotefuran, was granted both
organophosphorus alternative and reduced risk status for public health use by the EPA. Public
health pests are capable of spreading human disease or otherwise impacting human health. For
example, the German cockroach has been linked to asthma and can contaminate food and eating
utensils.
A new active ingredient and bait matrix cockroaches can’t resist.
Advance Cockroach Gel Bait features dinotefuran, a new fast-acting ingredient with no known resistance. Offering ingestion and contact kill, dinotefuran is in a new subclassification of neonicotinoid chemicals and offers PMPs a non-repellant combined with low mammalian toxicity.
In addition, Advance Cockroach Gel Bait features a new bait matrix which is attractive to both averse and nonaverse cockroaches–and it stays attractive for 30 days or more. Advance effectively solves the gel-aversion problem, while offering you the benefits of an easy-to-use gel bait.

Independent laboratory tests confirm the attractiveness
and quick killing power of Advance Cockroach Gel Bait.
Field trials verify Advance Cockroach Gel Bait’s effectiveness
In 2006, Advance Cockroach Gel Bait was tested by independent researchers in Texas, California and Virginia. Results from both lab and field tests consistently showed 98% or greater control of different strains of averse and non-averse cockroaches. In real world conditions (poor housekeeping, new roach introductions, bait contamination and other factors) Advance Cockroach Gel Bait quickly killed cockroaches and maintained control for 28 days. Furthermore, one month aged bait was tested versus fresh bait and demonstrated comparable results.
